I have a gift!

It’s a secret, and I’ve never wanted to let anyone in on it. But you know how life is these days…the economy is bad, the Chinese have taken over the world, and most importantly, HOW THE HECK do people manage to keep blogs?
Getting ideas for a new post is harder than licking your own elbows. At this rate, I may have to sell my soul. And then write about it, just to keep this up…but that day isn’t today. Today I give up my secret. It’s A shame (giving it up I mean, not the gift, the gift is awesome)

Ok so let’s get to it. This gift is actually pretty dope. I can predict who you are in 10 seconds! All I need is the kinda books you read. Your childhood favorite. And I shall unwrap you, like a love stoned girl unwraps her Valentine’s Day gifts.
What’s that? You don’t believe me? Fine how about a few examples…take your pick.

And now the question we’ve all been waiting for…What was your childhood favorite?

Animorphs : Everything in life comes easy for you: sports, Relationships, work, money…Everything. You fall asleep within ten minutes of turning out the lights. You never worry.

Enid Blyton Book Series: You won the inter class quiz to get in the school’s quiz team but lost the inter schools quiz competition. You pretended not to mind (who cares about a stupid quiz) but you did. As an adult you either love or hate competitions with a passion. There is no middle ground. Also you’re a really sore loser

The Adventures of Tintin: You’re tenacious, have a rare gift for sports. Hard on the outside but soft on the inside but you don’t like that to be general knowledge so you cover up with arrogance. A lover’s lover, intelligent and very gifted. Not a quitter but can’t handle disappointments.

The Classics (Dickens, Shakespeare etc): You like to be in the elite club, be in the know. Very competitive but down to earth. You make friends easily, hard to see as a lover but easy to love. Quick to make promises. Very cheerful but can be a handful.

Asterisk and Obelisk : You’re naturally curious and open minded. You’re good with your hands and can fix anything. Well almost anything. One thing you can’t fix is that you’re a late bloomer…which is kind of a bummer because you would have made for such an instant chick-magnet. As an adult, you are the first among your peers to get married.

Sweet Valley: You are a natural born leader. No one believes that but there’s always an exception. You are easy to get along with and a very good friend. You are responsible and with great foresight. You are dependable and trustworthy. You do have deep seated masculine issues and find it a bit difficult to blend in with the male crowd.

Goosebumps : You were as scared of this as the other kids. But you pretended not to just to display your machismo. You show great courage and initiative. You also like dares, stunts and pranks and can be great fun to be around. In one extreme however you are a bully. Also you’re insecure about your appearance and you cried when your girlfriend broke up with you.

Jane Austen (any title): You’re a hopeless romantic but that’s stating the obvious. Seeks for love and hangs on to any promise of love. Very hardworking and intelligent. You have friends but you find it hard to trust them. You get lonely so you fill your life with lots of mundane activities. When you find that special one, you’ll be glad you waited.
